Learning outcomes
This course will allow participants to:



  • To define Child Criminal Exploitation.

  • Recognise the signs and symptoms as well as the impact of this type of abuse on young people.

  • Realise the relationship between Child Criminal Exploitation , Child Sexual Exploitation , Substance use and gangs.

  • Define what is Modern Day Slavery and Child Trafficking, identifing signs and impact on young people.

  • Understand the responsibilities under the MDS Act and it's value in identifying and protecting children who are victims of modern slavery.

  • Know how to respond to both CCE and Modern Day Slavery.
