Code: SCH/20/13 Key Stage 2 Assessment of Writing: Session 3 - Cross-School Cluster Moderation (pm option) (EVENT FULL)

This is the final session of 3 sessions (Familiarisation, Have-a-Go, Cross-school cluster moderation) designed to support teachers in confidently and accurately assessing writing in Y6.

These moderation sessions will provide an opportunity for Year 6 teachers to have a writing collection externally moderated. All delegates will receive feedback on the collection they have brought to moderation.
All delegates to bring a copy of:

• A collection from one child comprising 4-6 pieces of evidence across a range of genres

(This collection needs to be photocopied four times).

This training is aimed at Headteachers (or equivalent) of education settings / schools in the Peterborough area, in order to provide an overview of the legsilative duties, responsibilities and processes surrounding Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).

Code: SCH/NQT/3 NQT Network Meeting - Summer

Each term there will be the opportunity for NEwly Qualified Teachers to attend a half-day session.

At each meeting NQTs will:
• Review progress towards meeting the Teacher Standards
• Evaluate the impact of their additional release time upon their teaching
• Review their Career Entry and Development Profile
• Participate in a CPD event; for example the effective teaching of reading.

More detailed agendas will be sent out to schools prior to each meeting.

Cost

No charge for all schools with whom the LA is acting as the Appropriate body.
£15 All other schools

Failure to attend, without notification, wil incur a £10 admin fee
